  It's hard to review Moondogs because I use to love coming here. In my more recent trips the experiences have been poor and the prices just aren't worth it. If I was getting excellent food and top notch service I wouldn't mind, but Moondog's doesn't offer either of those. I really like what they did with the outside bar it's a fun place to sit and have a glass of wine... but then they still close it at the same time as the restaurant and the have a very small wine option. I think they could be doing so much more with that new space. Just like anywhere I use to love, I'll keep visiting every now and then to see if anything has changed. I hope I'll be able to change this review one day.

  We ate outside and enjoy the view. The fishermen were steadily bringing in tow sacks of oysters. The service was fair, the shrimp, oysters & margaritas were outstanding. The sides and the of the stuff on the plate would have been better left in the kitchen.

  This one of my favorite Restaurants to get a great meal with refreshing drinks and good tap beer. All with an awesome view of the Fulton Harbor entrance and Aransas Bay. Very quaint and serene. Although you got to keep an eye out for the french fry thief's (the birds) LOL! LOVE THIS PLACE!

  Wonderful outside terrace. In fact, several terraces - all nice, airy & with a great view. Food OK, too heavy & greasy for me. Orange juice is 'fresh', someone just opened the bottle... Staff seems to be stressed to get you served & out as soon as they can, unfortunately. Not so nice.
